Geico cavemen still make me laugh
This is the latest Geico caveman commercial entitled “Plane Banner,” which is somewhat of a revival after the idea grew stale, not to mention the embarrassing TV spin off of last year. In any case, caveman commercials have been making me chuckle since they started in 2004. Am I alone?

Love the commercials… but don’t buy into the insurance company propaganda. You’re not in good hands with Allstate (worst insurance company ever), State Farm (surprisingly the least evil of them all, but that’s not saying much) is more like the neighbor you wish you didn’t have. Don’t even get me started on American Family, Progressive or any of the other insurance companies we are forced to do business with thanks to Government. They feed you lies I tell you.
Enough about that… great commercials.
I think the concept is too shallow for a more than a few seconds, Nick. The funny part is how sensitive these primates are. Hilarious. Beyond that, there’s not much funny.
I think my favorite caveman commercial of late has to be the tennis one. Something about those disgustingly hairy legs in short shorts makes me gag and chuckle at the same time.
@ Mark
Let’s keep in mind that you work for a law firm so your opinion on insurance companies is biased to say the least. I mean honestly you trashing an insurance company is like a drunken driver complaining about getting a roadside sobriety test.

Maybe, but wait until you have to make a real claim with one and see how they treat you. Sure they don’t have a problem taking your money month after month, but the minute you need to get some money back from them they want to cancel your policy. Trust me, it’s a jacked up system. Just ask Blake about his health insurance that kept cashing his checks even though they canceled his policy months before.
I love them, which is why I was so disappointed in the series. It could have been so much better.
