About me: What you need to know
Writing is my calling, music is my passion, and family makes it easy to leave a job I love everyday.
Hi, my name is Blake Snow.
I’m a bestselling author, bodacious writer-for-hire, content advisor, and practicing husband and father. When blogging was still cool, I started “keyboarding” and became a popular technology critic and feature writer to half of the top 20 U.S. media. Today, I help fancy publications and Fortune 500 companies tell better stories with insightful reporting, daring words, and explanatory journalism. I do that in three ways:
- I sell custom articles, reports, ghostwriting, editorial, and content strategy to said companies, including requests to “make us sound interesting, find our narrative voice, and reach more readers.”
- I serve as an editor-at-large, helping understaffed marketing and communication teams with story ideation, editorial calendars, content production, and writing assignments.
- I am a speaker-for-hire and train companies on what 20 years of writing have taught me.
When I’m not working, I enjoy logging off with my soulmate, raising children, making records (really!), travel writing, playing in a band, running a nonprofit, scoring goals, visiting all seven continents, and cooking. I chase experiences more than paper. I believe people are inherently good. And if you disagree, you’re wrong.
Email is the best way to contact me. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading.
