Internet radio still great sans “2.0” hoopla
I just listened to an internet radio station streaming at 192kbps (CD quality) via iTunes. It was the first time I’ve done so in over 2 years. While I know millions use the technology, I had forgotten how much I enjoy it in light of all this podcast, “2.0” hoopla (not to take away from that).
Do you listen to internet radio? If so, by what means?

I listen to internet radio all the time, through iTUNES. It is the best. Lately I have been listening to a Jazz station. It is great. There is one commercial every 5 songs. I can deal with that.
Plus, I can find any type of music for any type of mood; Top 40, Jazz, Electronica, Rap, Latin, Classical. LOVE IT!!!
It was via internet radio that I won my two Strokes concert tickets earlier this year. It had been probably 5 years since I had listened to internet radio — you remember, delayed listening. So I was very skeptical about my chance at winning tickets. But internet radio really is nice now — no delay! And the stations show you the song/artist while it’s playing! And you can get a list of the previously played songs!
I should probably listen to it more often . . . But I’ve been really bored with music lately. 🙁
