Poor Customer Service
Who ranks the worst when it comes to customer service? Well according to a recent Fast Company survey, Wal-mart, Cingular, and Sprint PCS are the top three offenders. How much longer can wireless companies keep treating it’s customers poorly? Oh I know. When VoIP and other new technologies make them get their act together.
Until then, here’s to crappy cell phone service!

I left Cingular because their sevice in general sucked. I recently came back and was surprised to find some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I think they’ve really been focusing on it since all the negative critism.
Recently, I was on a call with customer support, my connection got fuzzy, and I got tired. So, I hung up. Not only did the customer service rep continue working on my problem, but she also called me back once she solved it to let me know everything was good. I’ve never had one of the places call back before.
The only problem is that their reception still sucks.
I’ll argue for Wal-Mart customer service here. I think that this rating is because it’s cool to diss Wal-Mart right now.
When I was taking back gifts after my wedding, Walmart was far and wide the most pleasant big box store to deal with, better than Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and miles beyond Target. I have never had worse customer service than at Target.
