It’s official: Frank Sinatra has a better Christmas voice than Bing Crosby
I grew up on White Christmas and it’s awesome. Arguably the best Christmas album of all time.
But after 25 years of listening memories, I think I’m finally ready to say that Frank Sinatra has the better Christmas voice. His renditions of White Christmas, I’ll be Home for Christmas, and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas are the best I’ve ever heard. Even better than Bing.
Am I wrong?
Either way, what’s your favorite Christmas artist? (WARNING: Any mention of Mannheim Steamroller will be immediately deleted.)

Well, I must admit that I’ve really come to love Frank Sinatra’s Christmas music, even though we weren’t raised on it. I like his voice for the quiet songs about Christ, but for the upbeat, jolly Christmas carols, I like Bing better — he really knows how to get people excited about the season!
What a great version of Jingle Bells David. Love it! But yes, I’m a die-hard Frank fan, but Bing is still very hard to beat this time of year. Sara probably hit the nail on the head for me in regards to each artist singing the different kinds of songs (slow vs upbeat).
There is Bing Crosby singing Christmas Carols, and everybody else.
Franks a great singer,Bing is other worldly!
Frank is smooth, I’ve give him that, Harold. But no one has ever done a version of Jingle Bells quite like this gem of a recording from Bing Crosby:

I could NOT find this file anywhere online, youtube or otherwise. I got it on a great CD box set of “big band christmas” music.
