This is something: My greatest hike yet
Since moving to the Western United States 11 years ago, I’ve hiked many majestic trails. All are proof the area is still very wild and as breathtaking as ever.
Last week, I hiked the most impressive trail of them all: The Narrows, which I was unable to do the first time I visited Zion. In short, The Narrows is like a taller and deeper Little Wild Horse Canyon — my second favorite hike — with a river running through it. It’s so beautiful, I think it’s all I’ll do next time I visit Zion. I need that canyon in my life.

Awesome.
I think I like Angel’s Landing slightly more for different reasons. Both of these hikes are thrilling in their own way: One atop the entire world and the other brings a sensation of awe from seeing the world from such a narrow field of view (no pun intended).
Stunning to think that there is so much awesome in the world, and even more incredible to know that they are located so close to each other that you could hike them back-to-back.
If you’re fishing in that picture, you’re doing it wrong.
p.s. Looking good, man!
Zion is awesome. I tried to do the narrows a few years back but it flooded and was closed. I can’t remember the trail we did instead, but it was awesome.
I did get to do the Subway, top down, an incredible hike. In fact, although it is just a day hike, it was the single best hike I’ve ever done.
Last week, I did 3 nights in Cohutta. I never would have thought Georgia had views to rival Utah, but it does.
