New York, New York
The shown picture comes from Flickr’s Cream of the Crop (most popular, highest rated photo pool). My younger sister, Lexia, is graduating with a master’s degree from the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan later this month, and the family and I are flying out to see her.
Haven’t been to the Big Apple since pre-911, so I’m anxious to get back to the financial capital and the hustle and bustle of this great town. Any fans of the place? Where does it rank on your list of favorite American cities?

I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE thu CITY! Nawt TOWN! NYC is thu greatest place in thu USA. Thu people awr funtasstic, they really awr helpful, and would give thu shurt awf their baacks if you needed one. Once you awr insoide, is when thu New Yawrkers arr the besst. Aawn thu streat, though, they awr somewhat guarded, and rightfully soo. I luved living there and working for American Airlines before I got mawried to your fathuh.
I haven’t been to NYC since I was three. But I am sure that I will love it. Without knowing much about NYC, I must say that my favorite American cities are San Fran, LA and Honolulu. Crazy, but I love cities right by an ocean. Might love NYC then.
I haven’t been to a lot of big cities, but it’s one of my favorites. I have so many happy memories there — one of which was meeting my mom’s cousins in Queens and Long Island.
Some of my happiest college memories took place in NYC because I spent 3 of my 5 spring breaks there (I think) and flew there to visit Lexi probably a dozen times.
I love it, but I don’t think I would ever want to live there for a very long time. It’s just my little oasis when I need to “get away.”
