I’m about to buy a swagger wagon

In preparation for a bigger car, Lindsey and I sold our beloved Jeep this weekend. As a replacement, we’re planning to buy a 2007 Ford Freestyle, which seats 6-7, but handles like car instead of a splashy SUV or van. After seeing the above commercial, I’m officially calling our anticipated new ride the Swagger Wagon. Only better because it’ll look like a Volvo instead of a paddy wagon.

Melissa, like wearing sweats in public, buying a van is the ultimate sign of giving up on life.
Um, do you mean it is a sign you’ve grownup…like you can make the logical and wise decision istead of trying to just look cool??? In which case, I am a grownup and wise and responsible and able to make good choices and you are cool. I think we are both happy with that conclusion 🙂
I own the real thing…the one in the video 🙂 You might want to consider it also. It may not handle like a car but the cargo room is much better and both doors open automatically. It is easier to seatbelt children in and they don’t bang other cars opening doors. The captain chairs keep the little ones from touching/arguing the whole time. There is a rear camera so you don’t run over kiddos and a mirror so you can see them in the back. Better gas milage. Basically it is so much more family friendly which is why we went the dorky way and got a minivan instead of an SUV. We looked at the freestyle too but…
